MEET OUR NEW COMMUNICATIONS AND ARTS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER Arts Northern Rivers is pleased to welcome Julie Clark to the part-time role of Communications and Arts Development Officer. CEO/RADO Lois Randall says, “We were very impressed with the incredibly high standard of applicants for this position and are delighted that Julie has agreed to join us at Arts Northern Rivers.” Julie brings to the role 20 years’ experience working in the cultural and creative industries, in both the community and commercial sectors, including the past 10 years specialising in marketing and communications. Originally from Adelaide, Julie has also lived and worked in Melbourne, Sydney, the USA and Europe, including six years working as an Arts Development Officer for a local authority in rural southwest England. Since her return to Australia she has worked as a freelance writer, producer and location manager, whilst also completing an MA in Journalism at UTS Sydney. Most recently she was employed as Marketing Communications Manager and Producer for Fresh Music Australia. Whilst a major part of Julie’s role is information management and communication, she says she is also looking forward to getting out into the community and playing a role in the delivery of some of Arts Northern Rivers’ projects. “In my previous Arts Development role I found it a great privilege to work alongside local artists and arts organizations and I sincerely look forward to contributing in the Northern Rivers in the same way.” Julie can be contacted at julie@artsnorthernrivers.com.au or (02) 6628 8120. |
