The aim of the Country Arts Support Program is to support community arts and cultural development in regional NSW through small grants that assist locally determined community engaged arts and cultural activities.

We bring the arts, donors and business together for mutual benefit, creating a more vibrant, ambitious and sustainable cultural sector for the benefit of all Australians.

Festival Travel supports NSW Key Creatives whose projects have been officially invited to screen at significant international festivals outside Australia.

Market Travel supports NSW producers and Key Creatives for travel relevant to financing projects.

The Production Finance program provides funding for projects produced or post-produced in NSW.

The Create NSW Screenability Filmmakers Fund is open to short film proposals of any genre made by filmmakers with disability that may or may not have disability content.

The Regional Filming Fund offsets costs associated with shooting in regional areas of NSW.

Generator: Emerging Filmmakers Fund (GEFF) supports new and emerging filmmakers and screen practitioners in NSW by funding the production and post-production of short films.

The Regional Arts Fund is designed to benefit regional and remote arts practitioners, arts workers, audiences and communities.

#SheDirects is a new development initiative by Create NSW for female TV drama directors.

Screen NSW and the ABC thave partnered to create the 360 Vision Virtual Reality Development Initiative. The initiative aims to develop the potential of this new frontier of content producing and with it, build a whole new world of entertainment and storytelling.

Amplifier is a new bespoke script development program for feature films. The program brings together world-class advisors with New South Wales creative teams for individually tailored script development

Advanced Development contributes towards later stage draft and non-draft costs to complete financing where a strong interest has already been established in the marketplace.

Early Development offers support for both pre-draft and early draft costs.

Small grants that respond to arts development and professional development opportunities that arise at short notice.

The NAVA Ignition Prize for Professional Practice is awarded to a graduating student from university art and design schools. One prize is offered to a student who achieved the highest marks in their professional practice unit or who academic staff feel would be most deserving of the benefits offered by the prize - a one year NAVA Premium Membership package.

The Visual Arts Fellowship is funded by the Copyright Agency and administered by NAVA, and aims to assist exceptional mid-career Australian visual and media arts, craft and design practitioners to undertake a self directed program of professional development.

The Australian Artists' Grant was initiated by NAVA to assist professional visual and media arts, craft and design practitioners to produce, present and promote their work throughout Australia and overseas.

Skills Development Grants provide funding to volunteer museums and museum networks for regional or state focused skill development training and networking events.

How well does your museum or gallery building perform in terms of collection care, environmental sustainability and visitor access? M&G NSW has funding to provide for professional assessment of small to medium museum and gallery buildings in NSW.

The NSW Artists’ Grant has been initiated by NAVA to assist professional visual and media arts, craft and design practitioners residing in NSW to produce, present and promote their work throughout NSW, interstate and overseas.

Leg Up Grants are quick response skill development grants for workers in volunteer managed museums throughout NSW. These grants fund various skill development projects including hosting or attending workshops, conferences or seminars in NSW, in addition to networking activities.

Fellowships offer senior staff from NSW museums and galleries the opportunity to spend two weeks at an international cultural organisation.

Small Grants aim to meet the short-term, collection-based requirements of community museums. There are no set categories for funding, and applications for a broad range of projects will be considered.

Project Development Grants allow community museums and keeping places to carry out strategic and innovative projects with mid to long term outcomes. The grants can also provide an opportunity to work productively with an appropriate museums and/or arts consultant as a skill development opportunity.

The Audience Development Fund (ADF) offers public galleries in NSW assistance in targeting and developing new audiences. It encourages galleries to create innovative public programs that engage artists and the community.

Volunteer Placements provide volunteers from NSW volunteer managed museums and Aboriginal cutlural centres with the opportunity to spend up to two weeks with staff and resources of larger or more specialised cultural organisations.

Mentorships provide opportunities for emerging and mid-level NSW museum and gallery staff to spend two weeks with a state, national or smaller, more specialised organisation.

The Dobell Exhibition Grant, supported by the Sir William Dobell Art Foundation, offers $40,000 in funding to one regional NSW gallery per annum. The program aims to support high quality exhibitions that speak to a broad audience across NSW.

With two levels of funding, the grants support teams of young people who are interested in staging their own all-ages, drug, and alcohol-free music events.

Creative Koori aims to support and develop NSW Aboriginal arts and culture. Creative Koori Grants includes: Aboriginal Artist Support (Quick Response), Creative Koori Arts and Cultural Projects, Creative Koori Employment and the Aboriginal Regional Arts Fund.

This funding category supports NSW-based organisations towards the costs of delivering arts and cultural programs.

Grants for Projects for Individuals, Groups, and Organisations support innovation, vibrancy, and creativity within the NSW arts and cultural sector.

Grants for Individuals works to engage in opportunities to grow their skills and practice, connect with peers, build sustainable careers and take part in innovative collaborations.

This program funds a range of activities that deliver benefits to the arts sector and wider public, including national and international audiences. Only organisations are eligible to apply.

The Contemporary Music Touring Program supports national touring activity undertaken by Australian musicians performing original contemporary music.

The Four Year Funding program provides multi-year core program funding for small to medium arts organisations of significant regional, national or international standing.

If you are an individual artist, arts worker or group of artists, a Career Development Grant can provide support to further develop your skills or improve your capacity to build an enduring career in the arts.

Australia Council Fellowships of $80,000 support outstanding, established artists’ creative activity and professional development for a period of up to two years.
