Practice 101 is Arts Northern Rivers’ annual professional development program, delivered online and across the region. This series is designed for artists and art-workers looking for additional support in their creative careers.

This year we offer free workshops and information sessions across a range of topics:

Memoir as Catharsis

with Tim Baker

This session, hosted at Literary Allsorts, presented by Kyogle Readers and Writers, invites writers of all levels to a free 2-hour workshop facilitated by award winning author and journalist Tim Baker who will unpack the unique process and therapeutic benefits of writing a memoir.

Building A Scalable Practice

with Karma Barnes

Facilitated by artist Karma Barnes this session offers a practical introduction to ways artists can develop their practice in relation to scale, visibility and movement across different contexts. Discover strategies for upscaling and extending work, with a focus on recognising which projects might lend themselves to further development.
