Art on Bundjalung 2026: Get Involved
Arts Northern Rivers invites First Nations artists who are based in, or have a connection to, Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr and Yaegl Country to apply to be a part of the 2026 Art on Bundjalung in Grafton.
Art on Bundjalung is a First Nations–led market and cultural event produced and presented by Arts Northern Rivers, bringing community together to connect and celebrate the First Nations culture.
This year’s free community event will be held on 21 November, 8AM–2PM at Grafton’s Corcoran Park, with the beautiful Clarence River as a backdrop to share and promote First Nations artists through market stalls, performance, fashion, food, workshops and culture.
Arts Northern Rivers is the peak arts and creative industries organisation for the Northern Rivers. We back artists and creative practitioners to build connections, develop their practice and create opportunities to make and share work across the region. Art on Bundjalung Grafton is delivered in partnership with Clarence Valley Council and supported by Koori Mail, the voice of Indigenous Australia.
Stallholders
We are seeking a mix of established and emerging artists and collectives working across traditional and contemporary practices, including weaving, ceramics, carving, photography, painting, textiles and more.
The market offers a unique opportunity to showcase and sell your artworks and products while celebrating the creative and cultural heritage of the region.
Stallholder participation involves a $60 fee, which helps support the delivery of the event. For this you will be provided with a 3m x 3m covered market stall and other essentials. You will also receive the opportunity to have two pieces of your work photographed, professional headshot and access to a ‘How to photograph your work’ resource.
Stalls are allocated on a first come first serve basis. There are 40 stalls in total. If you are considering of applying, we recommend applying as soon as possible.
Food and Drink Vendors
We are also looking for food and drink vendors who bring culturally grounded food offerings, locally sourced ingredients, and a commitment to sharing culture through cuisine. This is a space to connect with community and be part of a vibrant cultural event.
We highly encourage First Nations-owned food businesses to apply.
