Introducing Our New Executive Director: Rosie Dennis

Arts Northern Rivers is delighted to announce the appointment of Rosie Dennis as its new Executive Director, commencing on 16 February. Rosie brings more than two decades of leadership experience within Australia’s cultural sector.

ANR Chair; Emily Berry says: “We are thrilled to welcome Rosie Dennis as Executive Director. Her vision and experience will strengthen Arts Northern Rivers’ role in celebrating arts, culture and community across the region."

Rosie has held creative and executive leadership positions with Placemakers* Gold Coast, Bleach Festival, Performance Space, Urban Theatre Projects, Campbelltown Arts Centre, Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, and most recently the Bank Art Museum Moree. Recognised for her collaborative leadership style, strategic nous and ability to bring artists, partners and communities together, Rosie has been influential in initiating some of Australia’s most innovative cultural programs.

Raised in the Tweed Shire, Rosie is looking forward to returning to the Northern Rivers and reconnecting with artists, partners and communities in the region.

Arts Northern Rivers warmly welcomes Rosie to the organisation and looks forward to her vision and leadership in shaping the next chapter of arts and cultural development across the region.
